New Year Resolutions
New Year is a new beginning where we can start things freshly. Life gets interesting when we try new things. We should make changes in ourselves that enhance our personality. A New Year’s Resolution is the best way to boost up our ideas of life. New Year Resolution helps to eliminate our bad habits and take in the good habits.
Here are 8 New Year Resolutions and how to achieve them -:
- Losing Weight – Many of us say this. But by the next New Year’s Eve, only a few of us are successful. So, in order to achieve this, exercise more often and stick to healthy food.
- Being Organized – Untidy rooms, beds, desks and closets. All of these drive us insane when we don’t find what we need. To achieve this goal, clear things out. Look around and either throw your old things away or donate them. This will give you a lot of extra space which will really help in keeping things tidy.
- Staying Away From Electronic Gadgets – We all get easily distracted thanks to our phones, tablets, TVs and laptops. To avoid this, keep yourself on a schedule, remove distracting apps from the home screen, don’t let your phone be the last thing you see at night and the first thing you check in the morning. By using a regular alarm clock and charging your phone out of reach, you won’t be tempted to start your day by getting vortexed into an avalanche of messages and updates.
- Getting a new hobby – Bored of the hobbies that you have and want to pursue a new hobby, but can’t decide which one? Pick any hobby that makes you happy.
- Spending Quality Time – We all want to spend time with our family, but due to studies and work, we aren’t able to do so. Hence, set a schedule, for example- Friday night is family game night. And strictly follow it.
- Stop Procrastinating – Your parents tell you to complete your studies but you say you’ll do it later. That is called procrastinating. To avoid this habit set a timetable and follow it so that everything is completed on time.
- Early to bed – Decided to go to bed early but end up sleeping later than decided time? Set an alarm, for example- I sleep at 10 o’ clock, so I put an alarm of 9:45 so that in 15 minutes I’ll be ready for bed.
- Early to Rise – You plan to wake up at 6:00 but when you wake up it’s already 7:15. All this just because you snoozed your alarm. To avoid this from happening daily, keep your phone or alarm clock away from your bed so that you’ll have to wake up to turn the alarm off.
