Mango based dishes in India

Mango is one of the most loved fruits in India. Here are 5Indian recipes:

1.Mangomastani recipe :-

1.Slice a few dry fruits Keep them aside with 4 to 5 glazed cherries.

2.Peel, chop 3 large mangoes and add them to the blender or mixer jar,.5 cups full cream milk accordingly, based on the consistency of the pulp or puree.Add 2 to 3 tbsp sugar and blend it.

3.Pour this thick mango milkshake in glasses till you have enough space at the top for ice cream scoops.

2. Mango Kulfi recipe:-

1.Add 1.5 cups whole milk, sweetened condensed milk and 1 cup chopped mangoes in a blender jar.

2.Then add ½ cup cream.

3.Pour the kulfi mixture in kulfi moulds or small bowls. Cover tightly with a lid or seal with aluminum foil and keep in the freezer for 6 to 8 hours for the kulfi to set.

3. Mango Lassi recipe:-

1.Rinse, peel and chop 3 to 4 medium-sized mangoes.

2.Add the chopped mangoes in a blender. Add 4 to 5 tablespoons sugar or honey.

3.Add 2 cups chilled curd (dahi) or yogurt and 2 to 3 tablespoons light cream andadd some water or milk to the lassi while blending.

4.Mango Salsa recipe:-

1.Chop 1 large mango. You should be able to get ¾ to 1 cup chopped mangoes. Add the chopped mango in a mixing bowl.

2.To the same bowl, add ¼ cup finely chopped onion, ¼ cup finely chopped red bell pepper, 1 green chili (chopped) and 2 to 3 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves.

3.Add– ½ teaspoon crushed black pepper, ¼ teaspoon cuminpowder, ⅛ teaspoon red chili powder.

4.Now add 2 teaspoons lemon juice and add salt.

5.AamPapadrecip:-

1.Take the pulp out of the mangoes and blend in a blender with sugar to taste and a little bit of salt.

2.Now take a plastic sheet and spread the pulp on to it anddry it out in the sun.

3.When the top is dried, turn and dry some more till no moisture is left. Aampapad is ready.
